Frequently asked questions- Answered!

What is your service area?

What size plants can you operate?

What size plants can you operate?

We currently cover Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula, Summit, Portage, Lorain, Medina, and Huron - we are all over Northeast Ohio.  If you need help and you aren't in one of those counties, get in touch with us anyway.  We tend to go a little farther for our pump customers. And if we don't cover your area we would love to give you a recommendation.

While our operators have advanced certifications, we limit our work to Class A and Class I plants.  If you just need additional support for a Class II, give us a call and we will see if we can help or at least point you in the right direction.

Why do I have to sign a contract?

Absolutely.  Just let us know what services you are interested in so we can provide you with recommendations relevant to the services you need.

Why do I have to sign a contract?

The EPA requires our services to be under a 2-year contract.  This is to protect both parties as your operator shares responsibility for your plant, and its condition along with you.

But while the contract is for two years, it doesn't bar you (or us) from getting out of the contract if we choose to part company.

Is there any reason AKE would sever a contract?

Sure.  A service provider might quit if they were unable to maintain appropriate staffing levels for your plant.  Our operators have a finite number of plants they can take care of in a day, if we lose an operator and are unable to replace him or her, we may make the choice to reduce our client roster.  But that is an exceedingly rare occurance.

Most often when we quit service it is for non-payment, and only after all reasonable attempts to resolve the issue have been exhausted.

Do you work on other pumps besides E/One?

Yes, we can handle all types of pumps!

Do you provide consulting services?

I have just been hit with findings and orders from the EPA. Should I get an attorney?

I have just been hit with findings and orders from the EPA. Should I get an attorney?

Yes and no.  We can consult with you or your operators about your plant or issues of EPA compliance, but we can only consult with the EPA on your behalf if we are your Operator of Record.

Every situation is different, and we can't advise on whether you need an attorney or not.  But before you get an attorney you should have an Operator of Record that can work with the EPA to develop a plan forward. If you don't have an Operator of Record that you feel comfortable having speak on your behalf, please call us to see if we can help or connect you with someone who can.
